Sad News
It is with deep sadness that ApolloCon announces the passing of
Pamela Poggiani, better know to many of us as Pogo. She passed away
in her home on February 12.
Pogo was active in fandom for many years in Houston. She is know for her time spent in Baen's Bar, her tenure in the Society of Creative Anachronism as Lady Melusine Whitcroft the Petite, and through her charitable works with ReadAssist. She worked with ApolloCon for several years, and her contributions as Newsletter editor were invaluable. We will miss Pogo and her passionate advocacy for science fiction.
