NOTE: If you are flying in for ApolloCon, the closest Airport is Houston (Bush) Intercontinental Airport (IAH), on the north side of Houston, about 5 minutes away, with FREE shuttle service from the DoubleTree. William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) is on the south side of town, about 45 minutes to an hour south of the ApolloCon hotel.

Directions from Hobby Airport:
Take Broadway Ave. out of the Airport and follow the signs to I-45 . Take I-45 North through downtown Houston and continue north. Exit Beltway 8 East. Follow Beltway 8 east to the Intercontinental Airport exit. Take this exit, which will rise and bend to the left. When you come down off of the ramp, you'll be on John F. Kennedy Boulevard. The DoubleTree is on the left.

Directions from central Houston and points South:
Take I-45 North out of Houston. Exit Beltway 8 East. Follow Beltway 8 east to the Intercontinental Airport exit. Take this exit, which will rise and bend to the left. When you come down off of the ramp, you'll be on John F. Kennedy Boulevard. The DoubleTree is on the left.

From George Bush Intercontinental Airport (5 minutes):
Follow signs from airport toward I-45. This will put you on John F. Kennedy Boulevard. Go approximately 1 mile. Hotel is on right. Complimentary airport shuttle service is available from Bush Intercontinental.

Directions from Dallas and points north:
Take I-45 south toward Houston. Exit Beltway 8 East. Follow Beltway 8 east to the Intercontinental Airport exit. Take this exit, which will rise and bend to the left. When you come down off of the ramp, you'll be on John F. Kennedy Boulevard. The DoubleTree is on the left.

Directions from Austin and other northwest locations:
Take US-290 southeast toward Houston. Exit Sam Houston Tollway North. (The tollway will cost about $2.50 to get from US-290 to I-45. You can take the feeder road beside the tollway if you don't want to pay the toll, but there are quite a few lights.) The Sam Houston Tollway North becomes the Sam Houston Tollway East. The tollway will become Beltway 8 East as you pass I-45. (It's free from that point on.) Take the Intercontinental Airport exit, which will rise and bend to the left. When you come down off of the ramp, you'll be on John F. Kennedy Boulevard. The DoubleTree is on the left.

Directions from San Antonio and points west:
Take I-10 east toward Houston. Exit Sam Houston Tollway North. (The tollway will cost about $3.75 to get from I-10 to I-45. You can take the feeder road beside the tollway if you don't want to pay the toll, but there are quite a few lights.) The Sam Houston Tollway North becomes the Sam Houston Tollway East. The tollway will become Beltway 8 East as you pass I-45. (It's free from that point on.) Take the Intercontinental Airport exit, which will rise and bend to the left. When you come down off of the ramp, you'll be on John F. Kennedy Boulevard. The DoubleTree is on the left.

Directions from I-10 east:
Take I-10 west toward Houston. Take the exit for Beltway 8 North/Sam Houston Parkway North. Beltway 8 North becomes Beltway 8 West. Take the John F. Kennedy Boulevard exit. Turn right (north) onto John F. Kennedy Boulevard. The DoubleTree will be on the left.
